Solids of Constant Width - Mathematicus

Three constant-width solids, which behave like spheres. Made from solid wood.

Each solid is an orbiform based on the revolution of a Reuleaux triangle. Our eyes struggle to believe it, but the diameter of each shape is always the same at every point, allowing to to act exactly like a sphere.

You can demonstrate this property by placing a flat object, such as a book, on them, and it will roll smoothly as if the object were on spheres. In addition, these wobbly shapes will not roll away.

In Italian Language.

Not suitable for children under 3 years.

Standard delivery £3.45 (Large Letter size £2.75). Free Delivery on orders over £30
