The value of the stacking numbers corresponds to its height in centimetres, allowing children to easily get familiar with numbers, their value and relationships between each other.
Children can create their own sums by stacking and comparing the numbers. The learning opportunities are very wide. The instructions outline some activities and connected learning objectives. A set of Task Cards are available separately if you want some further guided tasks.
Children can gain practice with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division by stacking and disassembling towers.
The set helps children to recognise and compare numbers and to intuitively develop understanding of number bonds to ten and higher. Activities are self-checking, giving kids confidence with independent learning.
Set includes the following numbers: 12x1, 7x2, 4x3, 4x4, 2x5, 1x6, 1x7, 1x8, 1x9, 1x10, a control ruler and instructions. Packed in cardboard box.
All numbers are 4cm wide and 3cm deep.
RE-Wood® is manufactured from 100% recycled and natural materials and is certified with the PEFC seal. Products made of RE-Wood® are stable, light, saliva proof and they have a high level of safety It is made from two waste products: 80% ground wood residues from PEFC-certified sustainable forest management and 20% natural binder. These two components are combined into a wood-like mass using heat and pressure.
