Can you come up with a clue that is a cross between “Bear” and “Doctor”? Got one? Then say it out loud to the other players and hope they can figure out which two code words you crossed to make your clue!

Consider your clues carefully and think as a team to fill in as much of the grid as you can! With thousands of combinations of code words, this party game guarantees endless fun!

A 4x4 grid is set up (Expert or express modes can also be played with 5x5 or 3x3 grids).  A random clue word is assigned to each row and column.  Players work as a team to fill in as much of the grid as possible. Everyone takes a clue cards which gives the coordinates of an intersection on the grid.  As soon as you have a clue that connects the two, shout it out, and if the rest of the team can guess the location, you get to lay it on the grid. How many can you get in five minutes?

Great of developing social skills and vocabulary, Cross Clues requires you to think laterally and make some creative connections - a great brain workout for the whole family.
